A South African with Channel Island roots, Dean began his career as a marine engineer in the South African Navy before moving into civil and industrial infrastructure. He later joined a major international oil company, where he spent nearly a decade developing business operations and deepening his expertise in marketing and financial management.
In the years since, Dean has held leadership and consultancy roles in project development and structured finance, particularly within Africa’s largest engineering firms and later in Switzerland’s international business circles. As a Board Member of Ai-Mi Global LTD, Dean offers strategic input on infrastructure development and global investment partnerships, drawing on his cross-continental insight and long-standing relationships in the financial and industrial sectors.
